Gap Mountain is a professional services consulting engineering firm that specializes in civil / structural design. We also provide 3rd party, independent State mandated special inspections during construction. Gap Mountain has long-term, exclusive and strategic relationships with CMTL, DTC and Beacon. Collectively we offer multi-discipline solutions to complex customer needs that include:
  • civil, structural, geotechnical, coastal, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection design engineering;
  • cost and value engineering, pro forma analysis, and project finance;
  • peer reviews;
  • analytical materials testing and quality control during construction;
  • quality control inspections and certifications during construction; and
  • compliance with noise and vibration requirements during blasting, pile driving, and other heavy civil operations.

Gap Mountain was founded by Cory Attra. Mr. Attra is a licensed professional engineer with over 36 years of experience in the planning, permitting, design, construction, and financing of residential, mixed use, commercial, industrial, coastal, bridge, dam, and infrastructure projects throughout the United States and Caribbean islands. Mr. Attra was the former President of Kevcor, Inc., founded in 1978. He divested his interest in the company and has now formed Gap Mountain from key, strategic relationships and association with Connecticut Materials Testing Lab1, The Beacon Projects Group2 and DTC.
